The “Hide-Away” is a charming cottage with a bright living room, fully equipped kitchen, two separate bedrooms (with a queen size, and two twin beds in the other room). Linens and towels are provided. For more than 4 people, the sofa in the living room can be changed into a bed for a good night dream. The “Hide-Away” offers evergreen privacy, “dance with the wolves”, sit back, have binoculars ready to observe a vibrant variety of birds. 

If you bring your own horses they will spend their holidays on the pasture next to your house. A lean-to will give them shelter from the sun (it hardly ever rains here, the climate is rather dry and locals call it the banana-belt-area). In the sandy paddock you can ride your horse, rider and horse may go for a swim in our lake after training.

The “Hide-Away” is the only rental accommodation on the 320 acres ranch. Hike around the ranch see the Hoodoos of Deadman, mountain bike along the marvelous Deadman Valley, fish, golf, prospect for gold and fossils, river raft or visit a Drag Race – all this is near enough but not too close! The nearby 18-hole golf course at Six Mile Ranch is in full swing and attracts golfers all over Canada. Dust-cloud Rodeos and drumming Powwows take place throughout the season.
